A night of Scandal! Pregnant Kerry Washington camouflages baby bump as she joins co-star Katie Lowes for holiday party

Her pregnancy might have cut down her work on the hit drama Scandal, but a little bump isn't going to stop Kerry Washington from enjoying the holiday season.
The 36-year-old Bronx native was spotted in Los Angeles on Sunday night leaving a friend's house party, where she  dolled up for the holiday soiree in a little black dress, perfect for all occasions.
While little of her baby bump was seen as the actress blended into the night, Washington's beaming smile was easy to make out.

Featuring three-quarter length sleeves and a short hemline that showcased Washington's shapely stems, the dress fit loosely around the waist, hiding
Washington's pregnancy from the naked eye. 
The knit material kept the Django Unchained star warm on the chilly December night, which the cowl neck of the garment add extra warmth.
Washington's choice in accessories helped spruce up what could have been a possible plain Jane look.

The mother-to-be paired the simple black dress with a eye-catching black and white striped clutch that the actress carried with her.
She topped off the outfit with gold pointed toe pumps with a chunky heel.
The actress wore a smokey eye with crimson-toned eyeshadow and a nude lip, while her only jewelry consisted of diamond stud earring and her diamond wedding band. 
Also at the shindig was Scandal co-star Katie Lowes, who wore a retro green-patterned '60s dress with a slit neckline and a full skirt with box pleats.
She paired the outfit with a brown fur jacket, black stiletto pumps and a dark metallic clutch.
For additional vintage flare, the 31-year-old actress wore her hair in a tight bun, which showcased her neck and shoulders.

It was recently announced that ABC reduced the season order of Washington's hit drama Scandal from 22 episodes to 18, possibly due to the actress' pregnancy.
The announcement came a surprise considering the show is a primetime hit for the network, usually winning its timeslot for the night and gaining in viewers.
In 2013, Washington's portrayal of Olivia Pope on the political drama series was honored with an Emmy nomination for best actress.
