She famously sang ‘You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess’ in her hit song Love Story.
And
on Tuesday evening that dream became a reality for Taylor Swift as she
attended the Winter Whites Gala held at Kensington Palace.
The
23-year-old stole the show in a stunning flowing gown as she rubbed
shoulders with a real-life prince, William, in aid of youth homelessness
charity Centrepoint.

Fitting in with the
Winter Whites theme perfectly the pop singer showed off her tiny figure
in the dress which featured an intricate gold patterned top.
While the full white skirt
fell to the ground, she showed off plenty skin as the top fell slightly

her Jenny Packham clutch as she did so.

The
Prince was attending without his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, who
was minding their four-month-old son, Prince George, in their 20-room
apartment next door.
While
Katherine wasn't attending there was still plenty of glamour as the
stars walked through a glittering Arctic tundra into the Georgian
palace’s historic State Apartments for a champagne reception.
White with a twist: Eliza Doolittle may have adhered to the white theme but made sure she stood out with sheer detail
Prior to the evening's
entertainment, William held drinks for 200 of Centrepoint's
longest-standing and wealthiest supporters in the blood-red King's
Gallery, whose walls are lined with masterpieces including works by
Bassano, where George 1 once celebrated his birthday.

Following
a private dinner, the prince will settle down to performances from the
likes of Miss swift, who will also be sharing the stage with a young
girl called Olivia, who deeply moved William when she serenaded him with
a beautiful rendition of the Kings of Leon’s Someone Like You when he
and his wife visited a Centrepoint hostel in December 2011.
