Reese Witherspoon has finally sold her ranch in Ojai, California after dropping the asking price by over $4 million.
The 37-year-old actress first put the estate – where she tied the knot with husband Jim Toth in 2011 – on the market one year ago for $10m but was forced to slash the price after failing to attract buyers.
According to Celebuzz, a buyer has come forward to purchase the sprawling Spanish property for $5.9m, just $100,000 more than Reese paid for it for in 2008.

The house isn't just known as the spot where stars including Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey gathered in 2011 to see the Legally Blonde actress tie the knot with CAA agent Toth.
It's also where Reese's Water For Elephants co-star Robert Pattinson took refuge in 2012 after news broke that his girlfriend Kristen Stewart had cheated on him with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

The famed property is one of the most inviting in Ojai, which is a 60 minute drive north of Los Angeles.
'This Ojai escape is an ideal second home for Hollywood-types,' Cristin Zweig of Trulia told MailOnline.

Reese purchased the estate from prominent interior designer Kathryn Ireland in 2008 and subsequently put in several hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of changes, according to Forbes.

The sprawling ranch style estate was built in 1923 by famed Pasadena architect Wallace Neff. It began as a barn and in the 1940s architect Austen Pierpoint made it into a home.

The New Orleans-born previously actress said this retreat was like 'having a little bit of Tennessee in California.'
It's also where she often took her three children, Ava, 14, Deacon, 9, and Tennessee, one.
Famous neighbors include Ted Danson and Julie Christie.
