Her name has recently been touted as a
strong possibility to be in line for another Oscar nomination next year
for her role in space film Gravity.
But
Sandra Bullock looked like just another everyday mother as she picked
up her son Louis from school in Studio City, California on Tuesday.
The
49-year-old had obviously just come from a workout session at the gym
as she was still wearing cropped stretch leggings and a grey zip-up
sweatshirt over a bright blue T-shirt.
That's my boy: Sandra Bullock picked up her
little lad Louis, who will be four in January, from school in Sherman
Oaks, California, on Tuesday
Her thick brunette hair was pulled back off her face and her eyes were hidden under a large pair of sunglasses.
The Gravity star was carrying a green hoodie which probably belonged to her adopted son, who will be four in January.
The
little lad ran in front of his mother, looking adorable in tiny denim
jeans and a dark grey Beatles' Hard Day's Night T-shirt with light grey
arms as he carried his school lunch pack.
Sandra stopped to chat with some of the faculty members outside in the parking lot before driving away.
Looking lean: The 49-year-old looked like she had just come from a gym in her workout clothes
Juggling act: Sandra balances her hugely successful film career with motherhood
The star admits that
Louis is the main man in her life, after her painful 2011 divorce from
Jesse James. The Monster Garage host admitted to infidelities which
ended their five-year marriage.
She recently told Entertainment Weekly that she doesn't feel the need to hit the dating circuit because she and Louis are having so much fun.
'My
son is three years old, which is an amazing age,' she stated. 'Four is
an even better age. So if something happens, great, but if not, I've got
plenty to do.'
Cuddling up: He may be small but Louis, seen her in March, rules the Bullock household
But the Virginia native would be open to expanding her family if the toddler is happy to
share his home with siblings.
She told the Daily Mirror
newspaper: 'If all of a sudden my house had eight kids in it, if it was
OK with Louis and it felt like a good safe family, I would be fine with
that.
'It would be because that is what my home is for. So it is up to
him. He is the boss of the house so I have to abide by his rules.'
Oscar contender: Sandra is being talked up as a possible nominee for best actress at the Academy Awards
