Leona Lewis was seen in a striking optical illusion coat in Manchester, with slimming black side panels which gave the singer a sleek and chic appearance.
Leona, who shot to fame after winning the X Factor in 2006, looked smart and sophisticated in dark circular sunglasses paired with a striking beige and black tuxedo style coat, adorned with orange panels on the sleeves.

She wore her trademark sandy blonde hair in loose curls around her shoulders, black skinny jeans and black high heeled boots with miniature gold buckles. The Hackney born songstress tried to slip away unnoticed in her dark rounded sunglasses, but was still seen by a group of fans who had gathered outside the station to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.

The Christmas album will be the fourth for the Bleeding Love star, is set to be released at the end of this month. Leona has shared an exclusive track from the album with the MailOnline 'Ave Maria'
All ten tracks on the album are based around Christmas, and despite the season being full of age-old traditional carols and Christmas classics, the Better in Time singer revealed she didn't find it difficult picking tracks.

Leona told the MailOnline: ‘It came quite easy choosing Christmas
tracks for the album. They are all Christmas tracks that I love and I
went through the process of picking Christmas songs that I’d always
listened to.
‘It’s Motown inspired but I wanted to step out of the genre. I’ve never written Christmas songs before and the writers hadn’t written Christmas songs before and I wanted to capture that.’
Leona is famously close to her mentor responsible for her star, Simon Cowell. Leona recently spoke out about how she thinks fatherhood will change the music moguls tough persona.
She exclusively told MailOnline: ‘I think he’s going to be a good dad. My brother became really soft when he became a dad, and what happened to him will probably happen to Simon.’

It seems the tables have turned full circle, as Leona was recently asked to mentor Sam Bailey before she performed Leona's smash hit which became the biggest selling single of 2007, Bleeding Love on this years X Factor.
When asked who she think might take the talent show crown, she remained mysterious:
‘I don’t like to say who I think will win as it's not fair. The contestants read what’s going on and I’d like to extend my general support to everyone. To have got this far in the competition, everyone’s standards are really high.’
