Fresh Prince Of Bel Air star Alfonso Ribeiro joined a host of English celebrities on Wednesday as they prepared to embark on their Help I'm A Celebrity Get Me out Of Here adventure.
The 42-year-old is the sole American star to join the reality show this year and does not have a clue what he is for - as he has confessed to not even having watched the show before.
Get ready! Alfonso Ribeiro set sail for the
jungle in Queensland, Australia, on Wednesday to start filming reality
show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here
celebrities.
They will not only be going without the luxuries they are accustomed to, but also competing against each other in a host of tasks to be named king or queen of the jungle.
On Wednesday, the new cast seemed blissfully unaware of what they were in for enjoying the sunshine aboard a luxury boat in Queensland.
Sail away with me: Despite the boat taking them
to their jungle camp, Alfonso was happily taking the ocean views all the
while enjoying a mimosa
Clueless: The 42-year-old is the sole American
star to join the reality show this year and has confessed that he has
not seen the reality competition
Mimosas will soon be replaced by less appetizing things including bugs - which the celebrities are often made to eat as part of the tasks known as Bushtucker Trails.
As bugs are something the star is afraid of, it's lucky he has not seen the show.
Not Hollywood: The celebrities will be expected to sleep outdoors in their bush camp
Forget the mimosas: While the actor may have enjoyed a glass of champagne on the way in to camp things are about to change
'This is 100 per cent brand new for me. Nothing about this is what I am used to.'
Alfonso is being joined by English identities Olympian Rebecca Adlington, Miss Universe Great Britain Amy Willerton and Towie star Joey Essex.
Winning face: The actor will have to compete against his castmates in various jungle themed tasks
His participation in the reality show means he will be missing out on a lot, as he and his wife Angela Unkrich welcomed their new son, Alfonso Lincoln Jr, on October 27.
On missing out on his son's first month of life the star said: 'I am going to miss them a ton. I love being a dad.

This year Alfonso will be the only American celebrity to be part of the show, in previous years other US identities including model Janice Dickerson and The Hills star couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt - known as Speidi - also stepped into the jungle.
Alfonso is instantly recognisable around the world thanks to his role on The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air where he starred alongside Will Smith from 1990 to 1996.
From The Hills to the jungle: In 2009 couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt - known as Speidi - also gave the reality show a go
Prepare for creepy crawlies: Like Alfonso, Janice Dickerson also was not a big fan of bugs when she appeared on the show in 2007
Obviously influenced by the fact his wife and new son are waiting for him at home, the only time his famous dance will be seen on I'm A Celebrity is when he be seeing his loved ones again.
'There will be no dance until I am voted out. At the point of the show when you get released, my wife and my son are coming down. It will be nice to know that when once I leave the jungle I will have the miracle of being able to see them again.'
Famously fresh: Alfonso is instantly
