Downcast Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis arrive home after weekend sojourn in New Orleans... just days after they were forced to put his pet bulldog down

It's only been four days since Ashton Kutcher had to take his pet bulldog to the vet to be put down, and he's obviously still grieving over the loss.
Even a weekend getaway to New Orleans with his lady love Mila Kunis wasn't quite enough to bring the lightness back in Ashton's step.
The 35-year-old actor cast a solemn figure on Tuesday as he arrived back home in Los Angeles with girlfriend Mila, 30, by his side.

The couple kept their heads down most of the way through the terminal at Los Angeles International Airport, focusing on just getting through the baggage claim.

Although many anticipate Ashton to propose to Mila in the near future, the purpose of their visit to the Big Easy most likely had more to do with moving on from losing his beloved pooch. 
What better place to forget one's troubles than New Orleans with its lively French Quarter, jazz clubs, Cajun food and good old Southern hospitality.

Ashton just looked like he wanted to get home and be with his other dog, a black and grey pooch he and Mila rescued last year.
While Ashton was clad in black jeans, white T-shirt and woolly blue cardigan, Mila kept her eyes covered behind her sunglasses.
She wore a Superdry McQueen Jacket, skinny black trousers, black ankle boots and there was a large black handbag slung over her arm.  
Mila clasped her hands together at one point, displaying a little hand that was bare of any jewelry, further proof that their trip was nothing but a couple's retreat.

Ashton is back to work this week on his hit CBS show Two And A Half Men, which tapes a new episode on Friday at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, just a few minutes' drive from downtown Los Angeles.
Thanks to the departing Charlie Sheen, Ashton has topped the Forbes list of highest-paid actors on television.
Kutcher's earnings from June 2012 to June 2013 is estimated to be $24 million. 
Green-eyed Mila is enjoying some down time with her man after completing the sci-fi adventure film Jupiter Ascending opposite Channing Tatum.
