The 38-year-old beauty wore a vibrant green dress with black embellishments at the waist for the event.

The former Desperate Housewife co-founded Eva's Heroes http://www.evasheroes.org/ to help teens and young adults with special needs.

'I was extremely fortunate to grow up with an intellectually disabled sister,' she wrote on the organization's website. 'My mother became a special education teacher because of her, and therefore, I have been involved with all facets of this community since I could walk and talk.'
