And now Eva Mendes is sharing her tips for looking good with the rest of the world.
The 39-year-old took to the stage at Lucky Magazine's Fashion And Beauty Blog Conference in New york on Thursday and demonstrated how to wear a headscarf.
Style queen: Eva Mendes, 39, looked chic as she
arrived at Lucy magazine's Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference in New
York on Saturday
Sitting with Lucky's Editor in Chief Eva Chen, Mendes - who wore her hair in a chignon held with a thin headband - produced a patterned beige and black scarf and
began winding it around her head.
Laughing, the Hitch actress looped one end of the cloth around the other and in no time recreated one of the signature looks she is known for.
The Florida native arrived wearing another of her favourite 50s styles - a flowing black skirt cinched in at the waist with a broad belt.
Here's how it's done! Sitting with Editor in
Chief Eva Chen, Eva launched into a quick headscarf-tying tutorial so
others can recreate one of her signature looks
Wearing a brown and white checkered top with a ruffled detail at the shoulder, the fashion savvy star proved once again why she's rarely beaten in the style stakes.
Eva opted for simple pale pink Rupert Sanderson heels, so as not to detract from the rest of her ensemble, and wore her favourite gold hoop earrings to complete the look.
During the 30 minute session, the Place Beyond The Pines star, who is Lucky Magazine's October cover girl, revealed her style icons are '50s actresses such as Gina Lollobrigida, Daliah Lavi and Dalida.
Here's the tricky part: Eva smiles as she gets to a crucial moment in the scarf-tying process
As well as giving a scarf-tying tutorial to help women emulate her style, Mendes already designs her own fashion line for retailer New York & Company.
This year Eva appeared in TV movie Clear History, about a revengeful marketing executive, alongside Kate Hudson, Jon Hamm and Larry David.
She will hit screens again next year in How To Catch A Monster, which is written and directed by her long-term boyfriend Ryan Gosling.
Ta da! In just a minute Mendes completed her look and looked happy to share one of her style secrets
