Time for bed: Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage, his wife Erica Schmidt and their cute daughter Zelig look sleepy at LAX airport

Having recently enjoyed the glamour of the Emmy Awards, it was back to dad duties for Peter Dinklage.

The Game Of Thrones actor was spotted at LAX airport with his wife Erica Schmidt and their cute daughter Zelig.

The 44-year-old actor looked comfortable on his travels, wearing a casual outfit of navy trousers, a black sweat top and a black beanie hat.

While he took charge of his daughter’s push chair, his wife Erica carried his sleepy daughter in her arms.

The couple, who reside in New York,  married in 2005 and welcomed their first child Zelig, whose name means “happy”, in 2011.

Last week the couple attended the Emmy Awards in LA looking smart, with Peter wearing a black suit and grey shirt while his wife wowed in a sequinned white gown clinched with a black belt.

While the talented actor failed to win an Emmy for his role as the power hungry Tyrion Lannister in Game Of Thrones, he discussed how much he has enjoyed making the series.

His character Tyrion marries Sansa Stark (played by Sophie Turner) near the end of the third season, while the union was neither character’s first choice.

‘It’s respectful,’ Dinklage said of their relationship. ‘It’s not filled with passion… I’m working with [Sophie] a great deal and I love every minute of that. She’s incredible.’

The star also recently revealed that while the medieval fantasy show is an HBO hit, he rarely watches it himself.

According to US Weekly, the actor confessed to photographers in Montreal where he is filming X Men Days Of Future Past that he isn't watching the show.

'I don't watch the show - I mean, I don't have HBO,' he revealed.
