R&B crooner Jason Derulo latest single Marry Me
looks to heat up charts, and possibly a few fans, with the help of real-life girlfriend Jordin Sparks.
Rather than feature the vocal talent of the
golden-voiced superstar, Jordin hops into bed with her boyfriend in the video for the romantic ballad.
During the clip, Derulo, 24, romps around
with the half-dressed American Idol winner as the two lounge in bed and make
out.
Love story: Jason Derulo features girlfriend Jordin Sparks in 'Marry Me' video
The scantily-clad 23-year-old diva wears a white tank top decorated with
a gold cross and peek-a-boo cutaways at the arms, exposing her hot pink
lingerie underneath.
Derulo
spends a good portion of the video showing off his
muscular physique and body ink in many shirtless scenarios, including
taking a bath with Sparks and a playful food fight in the kitchen.
The video for the sugary-sweet ballad continues to show
the happy couple as they dance together, play in the kitchen and partake
in 9 1/2 Weeks style food play.
Dancing with the stars: In the video, Derulo serenades Sparks with song and dance
Bright future: The video flashes to an older version of the happy couple
The clip also show Derulo serenading his lady love as she
drapes herself atop a piano, as well as flash forwards to the couple as much older and still together.
However, despite what the video implies, Derulo assures fans in a tweet that he and Sparks are not engaged.
'We shot part of the #MarryMeVideo at @MichaelCFina in NYC. When the times
right my ring for Jordin MAY look something like this HA!'
Bling ring: In a tweet, Derulo wrote 'When the times right my ring for Jordin MAY look something like this'
I do? Sparks and Derulo may tie the knot one day, but not right now, assures the singer
The tweet included an Instagram of Derulo from the video, and a close up of the ring used in the clip.
'Marry Me' is available for purchase on iTunes and Derulo's
latest album, Tattoos, will hit stores on Sept. 24.
