'My world!!' Rochelle Humes reassures her fans that she and baby daughter Alaia-Mai are both fine after a minor car accident

Rochelle Humes has proven herself to be a devoted mother to her three-month-old baby girl Alaia-Mai but the two had a bit of a scare this week.

The 24-year-old has revealed that she was in a minor car accident whilst driving with her daughter on Thursday.

The Saturdays singer was quick to reassure her Twitter followers though that she and her little girl were both OK following the collision.

The new mum, who is married to JLS star Marvin Humes, revealed that another vehicle drove into the back of her car whilst she was enjoying a day out with
Alaia-Mai.

Taking to her Twitter account, Rochelle filled her followers in on what happened, writing:
‘Hey guys, just seen your tweets! Me and Alaia okay, someone drove into the back of us not very nice but could have been worse x (sic)’
She added: ‘Sometimes the shock is worse, just worried about her! But all is fine now. Thanks for all of your sweet msgs xxx (sic)’

Her husband's bandmate Aston Merrygold was obviously concerned about the pair as he got in touch to check that everything was OK, tweeting Rochelle:
‘You both best be ok!! who did it (sic)’
The mum responded with: ‘someone that can't drive. We all good now love u xxx’

The mother and daughter had been enjoying a fun day out up until the car accident, as the singer took her little girl to a swimming class, revealing that she wanted her daughter to be a water baby:
‘Taking my princess for a swimming lesson, don't want her to be a nervous swimmer like her Mum (I only like it when I can see the bottom) ha’, Rochelle tweeted earlier in the day, before adding after the lesson:
‘Well she was a natural far better than her Mumma haha xx’.

Rochelle was understandably worried about her little one, as she posted a cute photo on Instagram hours after after the scare, showing Alaia-Mai's tiny hand wrapped around her mum's wrist. Her husband was quick to retweet the photo, adding the words: 'my angels x'

But while the couple are loving their new roles as parents, Marvin recently revealed they weren’t quite ready for another child.
He told the MailOnline: 'We’ve made no secret of the fact that we want to have a big family, but I don’t think we’re going to jump straight back into having another baby. Rochelle is just getting back to herself post-baby.’

It’s been a busy summer for Rochelle who has wasted no time in re-joining her bandmates -The Saturdays.

The group have played at numerous festivals across the UK, including Fusion in Birmingham on Sunday.

On top of that she was also drafted in to present This Morning alongside Marvin, while regular hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were off for the summer.
