While Teresa has continuously supported her husband of 13 years, staying by his side during his 2009 bankruptcy filing and his 2010 DUI arrest, that may change very soon. Sources tell In Touch Weekly that Teresa may choose to protect herself and let her husband take the blame for their latest legal battles. “Joe could end up taking the fall,” an insider told the mag.
So, how can the reality star potentially keep herself out of jail? Federal attorney David DeStefano, who is not currently working on the Giudice case, tells In Touch:
She could try to get a plea deal. The government could make her a deal where she could plead to something lesser in exchange for testimony against her husband.
While throwing her husband under the bus may seem a little extreme, it may be the only way to keep herself out of jail for 50 years and in the lives of her four young daughters.
Teresa Continues To Support Joe, But For How Long?
For now, at least, it seems as though Teresa remains supportive of her husband, who she calls “Juicy Joe.” Just days after the reality star couple was arrested on July 29, indicted on 39 charges of fraud, the couple hit the beach with their four daughters, Gia, 12, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 3, even posing for pictures together.
“She’ll continue to put on the facade that she loves Joe — until she’s ready to throw him under the bus. She’s not going to lose everything,” an insider told In Touch.
