Victoria Beckham
never puts a well-heeled foot wrong when it comes to her fashion
choices. The style icon has become synonymous with beautifully tailored dresses and sky-high heels— but this week Victoria swapped her stilettos for a pair of sneakers as she headed out on a family hike.
On Thursday, the British star posted an adorable picture of herself and her two-year-old daughter Harper hiking in one of the canyons around Los Angeles.
Victoria, 39, and her little girl are pictured walking together in the
stunning sunset. The mum-of-four can
been seen in trainers, shorts
and a black vest top with a cap on her head. Holding on to her hand is
Harper, wearing her own pair of tiny trainers, shorts and a white top,
her hair pulled up into a top knot.
"Love hiking with my babies x vb," Victoria wrote in the accompanying caption.
It's not the first time the stylish star has shared her newfound love of hiking. In July, she tweeted a picture under the Hollywood sign, writing, "So good to be back in LA, and hiking, who knew? X vb."
It seems the States will continue to play a big part in the Beckhams' lives. The famous family returned to London in December after six years living in LA, but regularly return there to visit.
In a recent interview with the New York Times, Victoria admitted that she missed their LA life.
"I am very career-minded, and I think my personality is more suited to America," she said. "I am a working mother."
Already a fashion force to be reckoned with, Victoria also revealed her plans to become "bigger and bigger".
"I absolutely want an empire," she said.
Other insights from the interview included Victoria's revelation that
she gets help looking after her brood from a personal chef who "comes in
a couple of days a week and might make a giant lasagna, so I can put it
in the freezer and then do it myself."
On the other days, she said, husband David takes over the cooking. "Yes,
he's really good," she said. "David learned to cook while playing
football in Italy a few years ago while the family was living in LA, and
he was left alone on his days off. So he decided to go to culinary
school."
Victoria, who famously doesn't smile in photographs, also said she is
relaxed about how she looks in pictures. "I don't want to be made to
look like I'm 25," she said. "I'm 39. I don't have any issue with my
age."
