According to The Sun, the 43-year old actor has moved out of the London home he shared with his long time make-up artist girlfriend and his son Winston. He has now moved into a nearby apartment to remain close to his 22-month-old child, the paper reports.
The break up comes while Elba is enjoying a stellar award season, picking up gongs at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Evening Standard Film Awards which he attended alone (inset) for his turn in Beast of No Nation. Garth was noticeably absent from his side at the SGAs, where the star was accompanied by his 13-year-old daughter Isan, his child with ex-wife Dormowa Sherman.
He was also spotted on a night out with Naomi Campbell (right) at the weekend. Just before then, the famous model had tweeted him just last week after his SAG awards win, and said: 'Congratulations @Idriselba you deserve your double WIN. @SAGawards.'
