Back to reality: A tanned Simon Cowell leads girlfriend Lauren Silverman and son Eric through LAX airport after month-long Caribbean break

They've spent the last few weeks enjoying the warmth of Barbados but now Simon Cowell and his family were heading back home. 

The family of three were spotted at LAX airport where they had landed on Sunday evening, looking very healthy and tanned after their holiday which began on December 16.

Simon was back to wearing his white T-shirt and bootcut jeans as he led his girlfriend and son out of the airport.

Every year without fail he holidays in the Caribbean island of Barbados at his luxury villa and it seems this time he hadn't packed enough suntan lotion.

While enjoying a romantic stroll with his girlfriend Lauren on Friday, the 55-year-old showed off his very burnt chest.

Wearing a pair of white shorts, the music mogul looked content as Lauren clutched onto his arm.
