Sandra Bullock 'ready to leave Los Angeles for good' after terrifying incident with armed stalker

Sandra Bullock may be ready to give up on her Hollywood home after her terrifying stalker incident in June.

The 49-year-old was so shaken after learning that intruder Joshua Corbett managed to breach security at her Beverly Hills mansion as well as owning a machine gun among other deadly weapons, that she wants to move back to Austin, Texas, The National Enquirer reports.

The star used to live in the southern state with adopted four-year-old son Louis and also owns a home in New Orleans.

A source told The National Enquirer: 'finding out Corbett had a machine gun filled Sandra with dread. She wants out – now!'

'Sandra couldn’t believe the guy was able to get into her house. She has 12-foot-high fences topped by barbed wire and state-of-the-art surveillance,' the source said.

On June 8, Sandra went to bed at around 1am after attending the Spike TV awards.
Hours later the Congeniality star awoke to loud noises which she thought was coming from her third floor workout room window.
According to a warrant: 'The banging appeared to get louder and sounded like it was coming from her living room this time. She then feared for her safety, closed and locked her door to her bedroom and called 911.'
Thankfully Louis was believed to be with a nanny at the time.
When the police arrived, Corbett began screaming, ‘Sandy, I'm sorry. Please don't press charges.’
He was carrying a notebook with cut-out magazine photos of the celebrity and multiple handwritten notes, one of which said: ‘I will forever be thinking of you and Louis, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you.’

Back to normal: Sandra was seen out on July 18 running errands in Studio City and appears to be getting on with things after the scare

The police later searched his home and found 'an arsenal of weapons, including a half dozen machine guns,' as the District Attorney's Office announced in June.
Corbett was charged with felony counts of residential burglary, stalking and possession of a machine gun.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and the judge set his bond at $185,000. If convicted, he faces more than 12 years behind bars.
