And after officiating Khloe and Lamar Odom’s 2009 wedding, Johnson could be the one to marry Kim and Kanye West next month.
But the pastor has a dark past, including a cheating scandal and suicide attempts.

and Kim Kardashian, seen here last month, attempted suicide three times
after he left the church when it came to light he had cheated on his
wife
His infidelity has been well documented and Johnson has spoken about it several times.
It was revealed in May 2007 that Johnson had cheated on his wife of 27 years and he
left the Calvary Community Church, which he was a leader of at the time, in disgrace.
Johnson filed for divorce from wife Kimberly in August of that year and in May 2008 penned an open letter to the church.
‘I am so sorry for the pain and emotional upheaval my life and actions have caused you,’ he wrote.
‘I’m sorry for the deceptions, the irresponsibility, and the sin of adultery that came from my life and infected others. I assume full responsibility for my actions with no excuses and no rationalizations.’

Johnson spiralled into depression and has told the Ventura County Star he attempted suicide three times.
Paramedics and sheriff’s deputies were called to his home after he took an overdose of pills for the third time.
The disgraced pastor was working at a local Starbucks when Kris Jenner tracked him down and appointed him head of the LifeChange Community Church, which has been renamed California Community Church.
Kris, who was a member of Calvary's congregation, felt he deserved a second chance.

'You went to church and you felt like he was talking to you,' she said in an interview with the Ventura County Star, while Johnson added: ‘People really do get a fresh start with God.’
The Kardashians regularly attend services at the church and in 2011 Kim told Piers Morgan on his CNN show that she gives a lot of money to the church.
After Piers asked the reality star if she knew how much she was worth, Kim replied: ‘Whatever it is, I give 10 per cent away to the church and that's what I was taught. Every year. Absolutely.’
‘There's a charity that I work with a lot that I donate money all the time - the Dream Foundation - and my mum has helped create a church, so we help fund that, it's in Calabasas.’
Actively involved: Kim, seen with her mother in February, has previously said she gives 10 percent of her earnings to the church
