‘Easter bunnies on the Hunt!’ Madonna shares rare snap of children David and Mercy with colourful baskets

But singer Madonna seemed to be trying to get in touch with her Catholic roots when she posted a photo of her two youngest children Sunday posing with Easter baskets.
‘Easter bunnies on the Hunt!’ the MDNA singer wrote over an adorable photo of David and Mercy, both holding baskets filled with goodies.

Eight-year-old Mercy and her nine-year-old brother were born in Malawi and adopted by the singer while she traveled the country eight years ago on an aid mission.

Besides the rare snap of her two youngest children, the 55-year-old also posted an old photo of herself wearing bunny ears.
Although the Like A Prayer singer didn't give a date when the old photo was snapped, she appeared to be about 35-years-old.
In the old photo, the singer looked fantastic in a curve-hugging slinky pink satin dress and matching pink ears. She is looking at the camera with a flirty grin, her hand placed seductively on her hip.

Madonna is of Italian and French Canadian decent and was brought up Catholic.
However, the multi-award winning artist practices Kaballah, a form of Judiasm and celebrates Jewish holidays as well. 
The Sorry winger is mother to 17-year-old Lourdes and 13-year-old Rocco.
