'I spent $25,000 on surgery to look like Jennifer Lawrence': Meet the women who will stop at nothing to resemble their screen idols

A mother-of-one has explained why she underwent six different cosmetic surgery procedures, spending a total of $25,000, to look like Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence.
Kitty, 30, from Houston, Texas, last month had liposuction to her face and body, a breast augmentation, a rhinoplasty and fat grafts to her cheeks and buttocks.
In an interview today with ABC Nightline, she said she was inspired not only by the 23-year-old American Hustle star's looks, but her vibrant personality too.

'I can appreciate that her personality is spunky and fun. I can appreciate that her body is banging,' she said.
'I'm not trying to look like Pamela Anderson here during her Baywatch days,' Kitty continued.
'I'm trying to look like a very capable, very personal level-headed female who is an Academy Award winner.'
Kitty, who is married to husband Eric and mother to a five-year-old daughter, says people had long commented on her likeness to the actress before the surgery.

'The more I've looked at [Jennifer Lawrence], the more I've realized that her features are sort of my features but more refined,' she said.
Kitty's husband admits that he has no strong feelings about Jennifer Lawrence, and that this aim to resemble her comes all from his wife. But Kitty herself admits that since becoming a mother, her body confidence has been low, adding to the desire for cosmetic help.
In her initial consultation with Dr Franklin Rose at First Surgical Hospital in Houston, Texas, she explained how people often remarked on the likeness, and asked about the possibility of 'upgrades' to enhance it.

Kitty's recovery took several weeks, but she is delighted with the end results.
'I thought I had a resemblance to Jennifer Lawrence before my surgery and now I think after, my features are more refined to where they resemble her more,' she said.
Kitty is not the only one to have taken a lead from a certain celebrity's features. In fact, Dr Rose says, it is quite common for patients to do so.
'Patients come in wanting to have lips like Angelina Jolie, breasts like Scarlett Johansson, Megan Fox,' he said.

Rosie, 43, from Las Vegas, is one such patient. She asked Dallas-based Dr Samuel Lam to enhance her resemblance to actress Michelle Rodriguez.
'I've always been told that I look like Michelle Rodriguez and I love Michelle Rodriguez, she's bad, she's beautiful,' she said.
'I'm not obsessed with trying to look like Michelle Rodriguez. I'm just in love with … the femininity that she has. She is this bad a** person that loves fast cars, she has muscles, she's like, you know, a really cool chick and the fact that I'm told I look like her, I would, why not?'
She added that having a naturally 'harsh' face is her 'reality', and she hoped that a facial fat-grafting procedure, costing $8,000, would help change that.
The two-hour procedure saw Rosie have fat harvested from her body via liposuction, then repurposed as filler in her eyelids, nose, undereyes, cheeks and chin.
Six weeks on, however, Rosie admits that the results have not left her looking more like the actress.
Not that she is disappointed.
'I don't think I look like Michelle Rodriguez at all,' she told Nightline.
'[But] I'm not disappointed by it. I kind of like this is Rosie, this is me, I don't have to look like her. So, not disappointed.'
