'Good things come in small packages': Dannii Minogue prepares to launch a petite range as she recalls a lifetime of ill fitting clothes

She stepped away from her designer label Project D in July last year.
But Danii Minouge is far from hanging up her involvement in the fashion world and has turned her attention to an issue that's clearly very close to her heart.
The Australian fashion icon, who stands at 157cm (5ft 1in), is set to launch a petite clothing range for discount department store Target later this year.

'I'm a Minogue, so every bit of clothing I've ever owned I've had to alter to fit me,' she said in a behind-the-scenes promotional video.

'I'm not only short but I am petite, and for ages I just thought: "I've got a short body" or "I'm a bit kind of deformed in a way, I just don't fit things!"'
Recounting her history with awkward and ill fitting clothes, the X Factor judge, 42, throws her arms in the air and laughs as she recalled not only needing to take up lengthy sleeves and pant legs, but also raise waistlines.
'What I've done is try to create solutions, and this is a lifetime of work of altering pretty much everything I've ever bought!'

The range, which will include jackets, T-shirts, high waisted shorts, dresses and occasion-wear, will cater for petite women sized four to 16, and be available for Australian shoppers in July.
In July last year the television presenter and mother-of-one told MailOnline that she woiuld be 'no longer associated' with Project D after splitting with co-founder Tabitha Somerset Webb.
Dannii said she was nevertheless 'proud' of what had been achieved with the label, which had been a favourite of high profile clients from the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Mary of Denmark to Kelly Brook and Amanda Holden.
The mother to four-year-old Ethan led a host of celebrities at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on Sunday, which she attended with her record producer boyfriend Adrian Newman.
The diminutive star was dressed in a casual black ensemble accessorised with a silk Fendi scarf and high-top trainers.
