You're going to need taller heels! Mel B's daughter Phoenix is almost taller than her as pair celebrate her 15th birthday

She's fast becoming a permanent fixture on Australian TV with appearances on Australia's Got Talent and Voice Kids.
But Mel B showed she was first and foremost a mum when flew back to the States to take teenager daughter Phoenix to Mr Chow's restaurant in California to celebrate her 15th birthday on Tuesday night.
The 38-year-old singer was spotted leaving the popular Beverly Hills restaurant for a bite to eat with her daughter and she did so looking chic in a flesh-coloured vest and skintight leather trousers.

She added a splash of colour with some eye-catching sky-blue nail varnish.
But while Mel, a Los Angeles resident, is a common enough sight in and around West
Hollywood, glimpses of first Phoenix are rarer.
Phoenix, who at 5ft 4ins stands taller than her mother, left Simon Cowell's favourite restaurant clutching a cloud of helium-inflated balloons and dressed in flat Timberland boots and green skinny jeans.

Her hair straightened and loose, she was make-up free and looked the picture of teenage happiness as she clearly enjoyed some personal time with her busy mother.
Phoneix Chi, Mel's first daughter by first husband Jimmy Gulzar, looked remarkably like her former  Spice Girls mum who has admitted to having a five-year lesbian relationship with a woman.
Mel B may still has a penchant for the fairer sex and last week was seen kissing and hugging a girlfriend while partying on a yacht with husband Stephen Belafonte in Sydney harbour.
The star, who is currently on the coaching panel of The Voice Kids in Australia, looked to be having a ball as she sipped champagne with her girlfriends.

Mel B admitted to shock jock Howard Stern last year that she had a five-year relationship with  Christa Parker.
It would seem the star was having a rare day off on Tuesday from her busy filming schedule in the Australian city to catch up with Phoenix.
The Voice Kids debuts on Australian TV screens this year with the Madden twins, Mel B and Delta Goodrem featuring as coaches.
She has two other daughters Angel Iris, six, from actor Eddie Murphy, and two-year-old Madison.
