But on Tuesday Matthew McConaughey took a break from all that by escorting two of his children to a matinee of The Lego Movie in Malibu.
Though he was dressed casually in a beanie, jacket and jeans, the 44-year-old looked like a model father as he held the hands of two of the children he had with Camila Alves: Levi, aged five, and Vida, aged four. Son Livingston was left at home.

McConaughey was bundled up for the chilly afternoon in a cool black coat, dark blue jeans, along with a pair of sunglasses that slung casually off his black shirt.
His two children in tow were both decked out in red jackets.
Vida showed off a playful side with purple polka dot leggings.

The children both wore multicolored trainers, in contrast with daddy, who kept his footwear minimal and simple.
The actor appeared to be completely at ease, practicing safety first as he held his kid's hands in the parking lot.

McConaughey
has been receiving wide praise and accolades for his role as the real
life Ron Woodroof, an HIV-positive man who assisted AIDS patients by
smuggling medicine through the Mexican border.The Golden Globe winning actor was featured on the cover of Variety magazine this week, and lauded his beautiful wife Camila for her incredible support.
'We’re a team. I know it’s not easy on her, though she does it with aplomb,' the actor told the publication.
