The mom-of-two - she has five-year-old twins Max and Emme - became enamoured by contestant Maurice Townsend's sweet baby daughter after the aspiring singer was asked to bring his entire family in to the meet the judges.
The 44-year-old immediately stepped out from behind the judges' desk and swiftly plucked the infant out of her mother's arms, cooing over the little girl as she tenderly cradled her.

'Oh my God! Look at this little thing,' she gushed over the child, adding: 'You are a blessed man, let me tell you.'
The 26-year-old full-time student and church music minister from Grand Rapids, Michigan gave a stirring rendition of John Legend's So High, which was well-received by all three judges as the audition rounds rolled into Detroit.
'I actually just got to sit back and enjoy the show, and that never happens,' Keith Urban enthused of the pitch-perfect performance.
Asking him about his personal life, the crooner revealed that he was a proud father of four, all of whom had accompanied him to his audition, to which the judges insisted he bring his brood in to hear the verdict.

The casual star, who was dressed in a red plaid shirt that was rolled at the sleeves, looked a little bit teary-eyed as she toted the infant on her hip, sweetly touching her button nose and taking in that unmistakable baby scent.
