But the fanclub can now breathe a sigh of relief, after Jennifer set the record straight by flashing her still full and glossy mane of hair while attending a festive meal with ex Friends co-star Courteney Cox at the the famous Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve.
Jennifer was seen smiling as she was snapped through her car window making her way home from the venue after the meal with friends.

the 44-year-old looks worlds apart from the image of herself which
quickly went viral when it first emerged on a now-deleted Facebook page.

However, just hours after the picture first made the rounds among fans, it was quickly revealed to be a fake.
The original image showed Jennifer with long hair against a red backdrop at the 2006 premiere of her film Friends With Money.
Despite the frenzied speculation surrounding the state of her barnet, Jennifer looked in good spirits for the evening out with Courteney, who was later seen driving herself home.
The women seem to be closer than ever at the moment and recently enjoyed Thanksgiving evening together, where they were joined by UK singer Ed Sheeran - who ended up passing out by the pool following a little too much to drink.
The following morning, while Ed headed home to nurse a hangover, Jennifer and Courteney spent the day in each other’s company.
Meanwhile it’s been reported that Jennifer, who has always been reluctant, is close to agreeing to a Friends comeback – which would see her reunite with co-stars Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer
A source told OK Magazine in the US: ‘Since the show ended in 2004 it's been rare for all six of them to appear in public together. But with next year's 20th anniversary [of the show's launch] it will be unavoidable for them to do something together.'

The source added: 'It's the perfect excuse to talk seriously about a new project.'
But apparently it is Courteney - who played Monica Geller, opposite Jennifer's Rachel Green - who has been helping to pave the way for the reunion.
The source added: 'Courteney has been telling Jennifer that she and Matthew Perry have still got that amazing chemistry after shooting just a few scenes with him guest starring on her TV show 'Cougar Town'. It was as though no time has passed at all.'
Whether the reunion will take shape as a special episode or a movie project is yet to be decided.
