Leona Lewis becomes the most successful British female solo artist in the charts with her EIGHTH Top 5 hit

Leona Lewis has made musical history by becoming the British female solo artist with the most Top 5 hits.
The former X Factor winner's new single, One More Sleep, debuted on the UK singles chart at No. 3 on Sunday, setting an new record with eight Top 5 records.
The support from my fans has been tremendous,' Leona, 28, told OfficialCharts.com. 'I could not do this without them!'

After hearing her new chart position, Lewis tweeted on Sunday: 'Just found out 'One more sleep' got too #3 you guys blow me away with the support you show! Thank u so

Lewis overtakes previous record holder, British-born singer and actress Olivia-Newton John whose total of seven UK Top 5 hits include the Grease Megamix from the 1991 film and the 1998 re-release of You’re The One That I Want, a duet with co-star John Travolta.
Petula Clark, Shirley Bassey, Cilla Black, Geri Halliwell, Louise, Jessie J and Ellie Goulding sit in joint third place with six solo UK Top 5s each.
