The pop icon took her children, Lourdes Leon, 17, Mercy James, eight, and David Banda Ritchie, also 8, to the resort town of Gstaad, Switzerland, for a winter sports holiday.
While Lourdes was pictured Sunday mastering snowboarding, her mother was snapped on skis learning a beginners move called the snow plow from an instructor.

pants, a black parka with multiple zipper pockets and a fur-lined hood
with leopard print lining,a black helmet and black ski boots.
She had a pair of pink-tinted goggles perched on her helmet but was not shown wearing them. She also wore a knit face mask pulled up to protect herself from the cold with just her nose and distinctive eyes, sans makeup, peeking out.

and a pair of ski goggles resting on her helmet.Displaying her barefaced beauty, the teenager - who is also the daughter of Carlos Leon - is makeup free and has her mother's fair skin and light eyes. There's no doubt she's taking after her famous mother in the looks department.
The younger children, whom Madonna adopted from Malawi, went for brighter looks, with Mercy wearing an all-pink North Face ski pants and jacket with pink helmet and David opting for a matching all-blue ensemble with a blue helmet.

The production took place at LaGuardia Performing Arts school in Manhattan and Lourdes looked quite the part.

visited the University of Michigan with her mother last month.Madonna used to study there before she moved to New York to become a pop star and has said that she would love her daughter to go there as well.
