The 87-year-old actress gave Cohen one of Chaplin’s famous canes before she was 'killed', after being pushed face first into the shocked audience below.
Thankfully the whole thing was just a prank, and Cohen later said: 'Grace Cullington is the oldest, no, sorry, was the oldest surviving... I dedicate my award to her. This is obviously a tragedy. She has upstaged me.
'But on the bright side, what a great way to go, giving an award to me. Thus, she’ll probably make the Oscars In Memoriam segment.'

He went on to complain about the cane being 'defective', saying he had a lot of witnesses to back him up.
Making a rare public appearance as himself, Cohen arrived at the bash held at the Beverley Hilton Hotel with his wife, Isla Fisher.
Dressed in a smart black suit with matching tie, the comedian posed alongside Hayek and Fisher, who wowed in a floor-length white gown.

Cohen wasn't the only winner on the night, as George Clooney was honoured with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film.
The 52-year-old was introduced by Julia Roberts, who appeared alongside the Gravity star in the Oceans Eleven film series.
In addition to George and Sacha, director Kathryn Bigelow and actors Sir Ben Kingsley, Benedict Cumberbatch and Idris Elba all received accolades at the event.
