Halloween has come and gone but it seems not everyone is ready to bid farewell to the holiday.
Charlize Theron, 38, showed what a playful mother she is by letting her adorable son Jackson decorate his head with mouse ears on Wednesday.
Revelling in the warm weather, the two were seen taking a stroll around sunny Los Angeles together.

And the youngster, who will be two-years-old soon, clearly has an active imagination.
Aside from wearing a furry headband, the tot was carrying a little stuffed SpongeBob
SquarePants toy.

Charlize dressed Jackson in a stylish outfit consisting of a white T-shirt, detailed with a frontal pocket, white and purple drawstring shorts, and a pair of navy tennis shoes.

Meanwhile, the actress looked chic in a denim button-down, navy cargo shorts, and a pair of zebra print flats.
Her short blonde locks appeared to be freshly blow dried, while her eyes were concealed with a pair of oversized sunglasses.
Keeping a light load, so she could also manage to carry her tot, the Prometheus star opted to carry a small printed beige pouchette instead of a heavy handbag.

When she wasn't cradling her little one in her arms, the South African beauty made sure Jackson was close by holding onto his tiny hand.
Charlize adopted Jackson from her native country in May 2012 and has remained a single mother since.
As well as being a devoted mother, Charlize is as much in demand as ever and recently finished filming the thriller Dark Places opposite Carrie star Chloe Moretz, which is due for release next year.
She has also just finished working on Mad Max 4: Fury Road, alongside Tom Hardy and Nicholas Hoult, playing the ominously named character Imperator Furiosa.
