They are reported to be in the throes of a new relationship - but Jodie Foster and Alexandra Hedison kept onlookers guessing as they ventured out in California, earlier today.
The pair were seen enjoying an intimate breakfast in Hollywood eatery Charlie's Pantry on Sunday.
It is the first time the two women have been spotted out since rumours of their alleged relationship broke.

Wearing a casual white T-shirt with sweatpants and trainers, Jodie looked at ease with her companion as they walked side-by-side.
Shielding her eyes from public gaze with designer sunglasses, she appeared relaxed and happy.
Meanwhile, Alex opted for an equally casual outfit, wearing three-quarter length trousers with a navy blue cardigan and flip-flops. 

Just minutes earlier Jodie - whose career highlights include The Accused and Panic Room - could be seen sharing food from Alex's plate as they sat outside in the California sun in the Studio City part of town.
Jodie enjoyed a coffee while chatting with Alex, who opted for a juice drink with their shared food plate.
The eatery, on Ventura Blvd, is famous for serving organic meals with European-influence. Popular with celebrities including Hilary Duff, it also boasts a busy farmer's market.

The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress and photographer Alexandra, 44, are said to have been 'quietly dating' for the several months.

In fact, a source told E! News of the relationship: 'It's pretty serious. They're totally in love.'
Interestingly, it's not the first time that Jodie and Alexandra have been linked together. Reports of a romance first emerged when they were seen together at a technology seminar in Los Angeles, this summer.
The duo then fuelled the claims when they went to dinner with friends several days later.
But they are no strangers to love. Previously, Alex dated comedienne and TV host Ellen Degeneres, while Jodie had a twenty-year relationship with Cydney Bernard, with whom she has two sons.

Rumours of their relationship comes after the actress came out during the Golden Globe awards in January.
She said at the time: 'This is not going to be a big coming out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the stone age – in those very quaint days when a fragile girl would open up to trusted friends and family and coworkers and then gradually proudly to everyone who knew her.
'But now apparently I'm told that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a primetime reality show.'
