Frozen in time: Madonna appears ever-youthful with noticeably plump cheeks as she attends Hard Candy gym opening in Berlin

With her beguiling face and toned body she often seems young than her 55 years.

But Madonna seemed noticeably plump of face when she attended the opening of Hard Candy fitness club in Berlin on Thursday.

The star’s cheeks looked remarkably smooth and full with the singer having applied a highlighter blusher to bring a shimmer to her cheekbones.

The singer went for classic glamour with the rest of her makeup, wearing a blush pink lipstick, pencilled-in brows and false eyelashes to give her look some extra oomph.
Madonna also sported a youthful outfit, wearing a structured black leather jacket adorned with chains and a pin bearing the word ‘hard’.
She showed off her enviable figure with skin-tight wet-look leggings and completed her look with biker gloves and skyscraper platform heels.

Her hair was styled in dramatic waves which cascaded over one shoulder, showing off her chain design drop-earrings.

The singer prompted speculation that she may have had surgery when she appeared fuller of face in June.

She has previously insisted she stays looking young with the help of good skincare products and denied having any cosmetic procedures, but admitted she would not rule it out.

Hard Candy Fitness chain is a partnership between Madonna, her manager Guy Oseary and Mark Mastrov, the founder and CEO of 24 Hour Fitness.
Meanwhile, Madonna has opened up about how she felt about the criticism she faced after adopting her son David from Malawi, describing it as ‘an eye-opening experience. A real low point in my life.’

Madonna adopted David, seven, in 2006 and a second child from Malawi, a daughter Mercy, who is the same age, in 2009.

She told Harper’s Bazaar: ‘I was accused of kidnapping, child trafficking, using my celebrity muscle to jump ahead in the line, bribing government officials, witchcraft, you name it.

She added: ‘One of the many things I learned from all of this: If you aren't willing to fight for what you believe in, then don't even enter the ring.’
