Style chameleon: Katie Holmes rocks biker chic before looking sleek in olive green for her own fashion presentation

Over the last few years she's built up a reputation as one of the most stylish stars of the small and big screen.

And Katie Holmes certainly showed off her fashion credentials to full effect on Monday.

Amidst the dizzy heights of New York Fashion Week she upped her game by stepping out in a biker chic get-up as she made her way out and about in New york.

She's a style chameleon: Holmes then changed into an olive green jumper without cut out detailing on her shoulders to showcase her latest Holmes & Yang line

The former Dawson's Creek star wore a studded black leather jacket over some skinny jeans with a pair of black flats on her feet.

The 34-year-old completed her look with a black oversized leather bag resting over one arm, while she added some glitz with some large gold hooped earrings.

She appeared in a particularly good mood as she sauntered along with a grin on her face.

Well, it is fashion week: Katie upped her style efforts even more seem as it was New York Fashion Week

But it wasn't Katie's only style thumbs up for the day.

Holmes had a busy day ahead as she then held her own fashion presentation, showcasing her latest clothing alongside her co-designer Jeanne Yang.

The two style stars posed with models as they launched the latest season of their Holmes & Yang line.

And Katie managed to stun yet again as she put on an olive green lightweight jumper for the occasion with cut outs on the shoulders.

She wore it with the same black skinny jeans but added some elegance with a pair of gold peep toe heels.

And she certainly seemed confident as she posed for numerous photos throughout the afternoon, seemingly flirting with the camera.

It seemed like Katie had opted an outfit to co-ordinate with some of the models who were wearing her designs, as some included their own mix of olive greens.

Numerous models surrounded Katie and Jeanne as they launched the latest range.

The collection included a range of shift dresses, cute jackets, camisoles and even some shorts, while the colours ranged from the olive green to oranges and a mix of black and whites.

But it wasn't all about the models as Katie also took centre stage for her own pictures being taken.

At one point she even sat on the floor and crouched down to take some more shots of the Spring Summer 2014 presentation.

And being the perfectionist that she is Katie also helped style some of the models.

She was seen preening their hair and putting their clothing in place ahead of the photoshoot.

And once she was happy with how they looked the girls all took their places and started to get camera ready.

Her day of work came 24 hours after she treated daughter Suri Cruise to a fun girls' day, no doubt to help her get over her broken arm.

The seven-year-old has had a rough trot recently and is currently sporting a full cast past her elbow, so her 34-year-old mother decided to treat her to some TLC.

The mother daughter duo set out to a local nail salon in the Tribeca area of New York on Sunday.

No doubt a little protective of her walking wounded daughter, Katie made sure to keep little Suri close to her, putting an arm around the child as they crossed the street on the way to their spa day.

Obviously having New York Fashion week on in the city rubbed off on the Thank You For Not Smoking star once more, as she looked casual but cool in a designer ensemble.
