that she and her hunky Gravity co-star George Clooney never dated,
despite being friends for decades.
'I think we're probably the only two that haven't dated in the business,' Sandra told Jay Leno.
'I think it's probably because we're a little too similar, oh, in all the disturbing ways.'
The single mother-of-one has

When the late night host asked
Bullock to recall a personal story about the notorious prankster and a
swimming pool, the Golden Globe winner got visibly squirmy.
'We were at a dinner party, and I kept threatening the host that he was going in the pool if he didn't cheer up,' Sandra said.
'I went to the bathroom and I came
out and there's George and someone else with just their pants on, like
we're going into the pool. So I hold their hands and on the count of
threes, and in slow motion I see Nicole Kidman with a stack of towels,
and I jump and they let go and I go in the pool.'
She added: 'But the sad part was I
wore this cute little lace dress that I paid a lot for and as I got out
of the pool it started disintegrating.'

'You don't know what to say. You feel like you need to have a longer career to earn that,' Bullock admitted.
'But then I realise I have a son
who's going to be embarrassed by me very soon so let's have him be a part
of it. So we made his own little cement block and when we got home he
put his hands and wrote his name and put his little Converse in it. So
when he realises what it's about, I'll say, "Well you have your own."'

The brunette beauty was
on the programme to promote Alfonso Cuarón's visual effects-heavy 3D
sci-fi thriller Gravity, due out October 4.
Sandra won the role after the director's first choices, Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman, turned it down.
The difficult shoot required her to be suspended from 12 wires in a 9-by-9-foot, LED-lit cube to give it the weightless feel of outer space.

becomes stranded in space following a catastrophic event.
