Victoria Pendleton has added a gold band to her impressive gold medal haul after tying the knot with her fiance, Scott Gardner.
Wearing a stunning floor-length gown by British
designer Suzanne Neville with dramatic lace overlay detail, the
32-year-old Olympic cycling champion wed the former Team GB coach in a
romantic ceremony at Cheshire country manor house, Colshaw Hall.
Victoria said of her special day: 'Seeing Scott at the top of the aisle is an image I'll keep in my mind forever.

'I'm very lucky to have met him, If I hadn't have done sport, our paths would never
have crossed.'
The
dog-loving London 2012 star even shared the day with her pets, as she
and new husband Scott took their two Dobermans Stella and Jonty for a
walk after the ceremony in their full wedding pomp.
The happy couple were also joined on their special day by a number of Team GB teammates, including swimmer Keri-Anne Payne.
Victoria,
who bagged gold and silver medals at last year's London 2012 Olympic
Games, chose the Strictly Come Dancing house band to perform as they
celebrated after the ceremony.
And
the star's fellow contestant from last year's series of the celebrity
dancing show, actor Colin Salmon, joined the group on trumpet.

and teammates that she was vilified and he was forced to resign from his

Scott, 37, who first met
Victoria when he became a performance scientist for Team GB cyclists,
told the magazine: 'The day was amazing, brilliant, beautiful.
'I was just blown away by how she looked. It was the vintage look, the shape of her body, the smile on her face.'
When it was initially revealed Victoria, at the time Britain's top female cyclist, was in a relationship with Scott, it sparked
such an outrage with her management and teammates that she was vilified
and he was forced to resign from his job.
It also tainted what should have been a
highlight of her career after she won a gold medal in the women's
individual sprint in Beijing.
'Winning
the gold medal should have been the happiest day of my entire life and
it just wasn't,' she revealed in a BBC documentary last year.
'It felt like the saddest day in my entire life. I felt almost numb.
Everyone was so angry that Scott and I had fallen in love. It was so
unprofessional - we were a disgrace and had betrayed everybody.'
