And now, the 35-year-old has revealed the diet and beauty secrets behind her glamorous X Factor makeover.
Nicole, who has arguably one of the best bodies in showbiz, says that she doesn't believe in faddy regimes and instead opts for a balanced diet that incorporates her favourite treats in moderation.
X Factor body: Nicole Scherzinger has revealed
her diet and fitness tips saying that she follows a balanced diet and
focuses her exercise efforts on her legs
Speaking to Look magazine, she said:
'I used to diet a lot and now I don't believe in
them because you're
going to binge, your metabolism gets messed up and then your weight is
going to yo-yo. I did that for a long time.'
The
former Pussycat Doll opened up about her daily menu, saying that she
sometimes does six smaller meals a day and other days she will stick to
three main meals.
Discussing a typical day's diet, the
songstress revealed that she opts for oatmeal for breakfast because it
gives her sustained energy throughout the day.
She
also favours boiled eggs and salmon or frosted mini wheats to get her
going in the morning and gets her carb fix from snacking on Wheat Thins.
Beach babe: Nicole, who has one of the best
bodies in showbiz, credits her ancestors with her long torso but says
she has 'shorter legs' which she works on by running on the treadmill
Her lunch often consists of a
healthy salad or a turkey or tuna sandwich, and she counts fish or
chicken with vegetables as her favourite dinners.
With
a jam-packed schedule that calls for many hours on the road, Nicole
says she snacks on sushi, cashew nuts, mango, bananas and almonds to
keep going and she sips on coconut water to keep herself hydrated.
But while her diet is balanced from day to day, like most women, Nicole has guilty pleasures.
She can't resist 'dreamy' salt and vinegar crisps and says she can't ever turn down a red velvet cheesecake.
Nicole
complements her healthy diet with a toning fitness regime,
incorporating sit-ups, leg toning exercises and core strength training.
She
credits her ancestors for her toned and long torso, but says she has
been landed with 'slightly shorter' legs - and it is here she focuses
her workout efforts in order to create aesthetic balance.

Sharing her top fitness tips, she said: 'I like the treadmill or running outdoors to keep my legs toned.'
The star, who cites Beyonce, Halle Berry and J-Lo as having the sort of body she admires, spends hours in the gym honing her abs too.
She recommends using a gym ball to help align the body and work the lower abs when doing sit-ups, as well as using a weighted ball to build up core strength.
To achieve her flawless skin, she swears by Murad Perfecting Day Cream SPF 30.
Speaking to Now magazine about the £39 product, which uses Camellia flower, evening primrose oil, lavender oil and calendula to hydrate and nourish skin, she said: 'It is a life-saver.
'It restores my skin and can be used on its own as a moisturiser or as a primer before foundation.'
Ultimately though, Nicole's message is to learn to love what you've got.
'Once you embrace your size and your style and you wear clothes that make you feel confident and take care of yourself from within, you'll look and feel better on the outside,' she added.
