Eva Mendes is the height of elegance in polka dot dress as she promotes new vintage-inspired fashion line

She recently launched her very first fashion collection and is currently on a promotional blitz for the label.

And Eva Mendes was once again a walking advertisement for her signature line for her appearance on Extra on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old looked as if she had stepped off the Mad Men set in a maroon retro-inspired polka dot shirt dress as she chatted with host Mario Lopez in Los Angeles.

The Place Beyond The Pines star nipped in her tiny waist with a belt and wore pretty pointy heels that sported bows at the ankle.

Eva shielded her eyes with grey sunglasses and kept her makeup natural, opting for a nude lip.

The brunette wore her hair in a glamorous wavy style over her shoulders reminiscent of a starlet of yesteryear.

The actress showcased the collection on Good Morning America last week, where she dished on her inspiration.

'I love a bargain,' said Eva, who infused vintage prints from her own wardrobe into the collection.
'I'm always shopping at thrift shops. I'll go and buy a $6 dress, then I'll get a coffee, and there's always women who are like, "Where can I get your dress?"'

'I love a bargain,' Eva said recently. 'Of course, to feel beautiful, you have to have healthy self-esteem and work on yourself, and that can be hard,' she maintained.
