What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
Unless
it's all entirely made up to promote Justin 'I don't laugh at the
homeless' Timberlake's new movie like this skit cooked up by JT and TODAY host Matt Lauer.
The
sketch began with the pair heading to the hotel elevator as Matt
lampooned the 32-year-old singer and actor's outfit after a montage of
the two preparing for their big night.
The groom and groom: Matt Lauer 'married' Justin Timberlake in Vegas in a sketch for the TODAY show
'You’re not gonna wear that, right?' Matt said.
'The man purse, you’re not wearing that. You’re just screwing with me.'
JT
replied: 'This is where I keep all my things. I get a lot of
compliments on this. Besides, it’s not a man purse, it’s a satchel.
Indiana Jones has one.'
'Yeah, so does Al Roker,' Matt said of the Today Show's resident weatherman.
'Are you actually wearing that?' Lauer questioned Justin's choice of man bag for a night out
Night on the town: The boys start off soberly but mayhem is on the way
'And here's what's happening in your neck of the woods!' Timberlake then quipped, aping the meteorological institution.
Then there was a flashforward to later and an Elvis impersonator marrying Matt and Justin at the Classico Chapel.
'I can't believe we did this,' a Matt says while holding flowers at the altar.
Back on the show, Matt said: 'I don’t remember any of it,' he said, 'but I lost a tooth.''
Serious chat time: Lauer sat down with JT to discuss his new movie Runner, Runner
Serious now: Justin defended poor beleaguered Miley Cyrus
Justin did sit down and
have a sensible interview with Lauer, and he distinguished himself from
the celebrity sheep chiming in to criticise Miley Cyrus by sticking up
for the 20-year-old.
Well, sort of.
He told Lauer: 'I think she's really smart, and I think she's really talented.
He
added: 'I'm not saying I agree with the presentation, but I also feel
like every 10 to 15 years we pick somebody that this is what we're going
to do with them, is we're going to make them the model of who we want
our daughters to be or not be.'
