David Essex looks tanned and healthy as he steps out with his young wife Susan Hallam-Wright for a spot of shopping

Pop singer David Essex appeared happy and in love with his wife Susan Hallam-Wright as they strolled through central London on Monday.
The 66-year-old Essex boy held hands with his third wife Susan, 39, as they took their dog Levi for a walk as well as doing a spot of shopping in the city.
David was sporting a healthy tan whilst looking trendy in a black flatcap, khaki green jacket and jeans.

He wore a pair of sturdy black shoes for the walk with Welsh actress Susan Hallam-Wright, who he married at St Cross Church, Talybont, Wales, in 2010.

Susan, who is also the same age as Essex's daughter Verity, was wearing all-black, a black waterproof jacket, black jeans and dark green Doc Marten boots.
She was carrying a brown leather handbag over her shoulder whilst keeping her brunette locks and full fringe in a chic straight style.

The 1970s singer-turned-actor appeared happy to wait outside Boots, whilst his wife did some shopping.
The dad-of-four stood happily with their dog Levi whilst Susan perused the shops, and then later walked back hand in hand.
According to his Twitter page, Mr Essex is due to be releasing another album in the coming weeks, and tweeted: 'Hey I hope all is well, in the recording studio finishing my album it's called "Reflections" out soon on Universal Records.'

The star who had a brief stint in EastEnders as Eddie Moon, left the square on 6 October 2011, and went on the write the music score for the film Traveller, which premiered on September 9.
The film which is out in 2014, tells the story of a year in the life of a half-breed Gypsy as he tries, against the odds, to adjust to the 21st century and leave his roots behind.
He recently appeared on The Alan Titchmarsh Show talking about the film last Friday, and can be watched again on ITV Player.
