Police have today said they are trawling social media pages linked to the schoolboy who allegedly hacked his teacher to death in front of his class.
The 15-year-old, held yesterday after the death of Ann Maguire, has been described as a depressed loner who spent long periods online playing ultra-violent video games.
A drawing of a Grim Reaper is the banner on his Facebook page, which also revealed his keen interest in Dark Souls - where a cursed character travels through a fantasy world killing others.
Classmates said he was a 'loner' who appears to have few friends, apart from other gamers he met on the internet, and was a lover of death metal.
West Yorkshire Police said today they were 'aware' of his online presence, which is 'forming part of their investigation'.

Billionaire James Stunt was spotted shopping in Chelsea yesterday with a convoy of four cars with a combined minimum value of £1million.

Businessman Mr Stunt, 28, who is married to Formula 1 heiress Petra, 25, stepped out of a Lamborghini with an estimated pricetag of £350,000.

Behind the supercar were two Rolls-Royces, with a minimum value of £285,000 each and in last place a Range Rover Mansory, worth an estimated £208,000. It is believed that two other cars, not pictured, were also in tow.

Mr Stunt, accompanied by eight security staff, appeared to be expanding his art collection as he visited Daniel Hunt Fine Art Gallery on Sloane Street in Chelsea.

Former model Tracy Johnson, 52, claimed she was a ‘prisoner in her own home’ and said she was so unwell that she could not leave her own house or walk more than five metres without help.

But the mother, from Frome, Somerset, was actually enjoying a 'champagne lifestyle', travelling the world while writing travel guides, cookbooks and steamy novels as she falsely claimed benefits of around £50,000.

Johnson, who has only paid back £600, was jailed for one year for 13 charges of fraud, dishonestly making a false representation and dishonestly failing to notify a change in circumstances between January 2008 and July 2012.

However, she will not have to pay any more of the money back – as it has all been spent.

Johnson lived it up in a variety of exotic locations including spending a four-month stint in India, which she told a court she thought she was ‘entitled’ to.

Woman, 43, arrested on suspicion of murder after three 'ill' children are found dead at a £1.2m detached house in south London

A 43-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after three children all believed to have a 'life-limiting genetic disorder' were found dead in a large detached house in a London suburb.

The £1.2million property in New Malden, south London, has been sealed off with forensics officers removing bags of evidence through the night.

Neighbours said that the South African couple living there, named locally as Gary and Tania Clarence, had four children, but three were unwell and required the full-time care of their mother.

Police were called to the house in Thetford Road at 9.30pm yesterday, where the young family had moved in around a year ago after a major refurbishment.

The ages of the dead children have not been confirmed, and it is not clear whether their bodies of are still inside the house.
